Plantmotive / Facility planning

See the change before the floor changes.

Plantmotive helps manufacturing and facility teams explore plant layouts and communicate proposed changes in one visual planning workspace.

01 / Intended use

Built around a real workflow.

Plant and facilities engineers, operations leaders, and integrators planning a new or reconfigured production space.

The source-derived foundation preserves map, markup, simulation, schedule, and 3D workspaces. The current product fork uses synthetic data and a bounded local backend while hosted integration and broader acceptance remain in development.

02 / Capabilities

What the current foundation supports.

01

Layout workspace

Organize categorized zones, layers, dimensions, placements, and duplicate planning elements in one visual model.

02

Markup and review

Add drawings, annotations, and dimensions so a proposed change can be discussed before implementation.

03

Spatial visualization

Inspect a read-only 3D representation of the planning model without presenting it as surveyed truth.

04

Scenario exploration

Use user-entered routes and material-flow assumptions to compare scenarios whose accuracy still requires validation.

05

Portable outputs

The retained foundation includes local JSON, PNG, PDF, and SVG export paths that remain under browser and output acceptance.

03 / Boundaries

Clear about what is not claimed.

  • Not a certified engineering-design, safety, capacity, or production-estimation system.
  • No customer or employer facility data is used in this site visual or public copy.
  • Hosted collaboration, schedule persistence, production security, and saleability remain pending.
04 / Next step

Bring the layout decision you need to make visible.

Start with the workflow, the inputs, the reviewer, and the result that would be useful.
